Recent Eviction Case Results
The following is an overview of results in some of the recent eviction matters Cooledge Law has handled. We hope this provides a decent snapshot of what a skillful landlord-tenant attorney can do for you.

April 2017. Represented tenant in eviction case. The court dismissed the case based on Attorney Cooledge's opening statement.
April 2017. Represented landlord in eviction case. Attorney Cooledge negotiated a settlement requiring the tenant to be out within three weeks.
May 2017. Represented tenants in eviction case. The plaintiff landlord wanted to evict a relative from the family home. Attorney Cooledge "subbed in" as counsel for the tenants shortly before trial. The plaintiff's sole witness made damaging admissions under cross-examination. After an arduous trial, the court found in favor of the tenants and dismissed the action in its entirety.
May 2017. Represented tenant seeking a stay of an eviction judgment previously entered against him--extra time to move out after representing himself and losing at trial. The court granted the requested relief, giving the tenant several days of crucial additional time to remove his possessions and find a new place to live.
May 2017. Represented tenant in eviction case. The landlord agreed to a settlement and payment plan giving the tenant months to move out, and extra time to pay past-due rent.
June 2017. Represented tenant in eviction case. Attorney Cooledge negotiated a settlement on behalf of the tenant that gave him the time he wanted to move out, without payment of past-due rent, and preserving the tenant's right to sue for damages.
July 2017. Represented tenant seeking a stay of eviction judgment. The court granted the tenant extra time to move out without requiring payment of additional rent.
